|
S-2 Litter Beechwoods Walk The Line X Beechwoods Campfire Treat Born: 11-15-2007
|
Color: Black Gender: Male
He was the 5th born of this litter.
"Cole" was about twice the size of the other
kittens in this litter. Because of the size difference
he seemed more like a puppy than a kitten in
comparison to the others. Everyone wanted to
hold him because of his cuteness and coal black
color. From the very start he never showed any
fear of being held. He went to live with Diana &
Dan in Columbia, TN. They named him "Spook"
12-20-2007
Color: Tortoiseshell Gender: Female
She was the last born of this litter.
"Coookie" was my favorite because I have a
fondness for Torties. I held her in the evenings
when I finally sat down to relax. She would cry for
me to pick her up anytime she saw me. She was
the first one to climb out of their Nest Box and
explore. From then on you couldn't keep her in the
Nest, so she just had the run of our bedroom. She
would greet me every morning and follow me
around everywhere. I will miss you "Cookie." She
went to live with Carol in Spring Hill, TN. They
named her "Natasha" 12-27-2007
Beechwoods Mini Campfire Treat aka. "Mini S'more" or "Mini More"
|
Color: Seal Point Gender: Male
He was the first born of this litter of five.
"Mini More" was about 1/2 the size of his
siblings at birth. We had our doubts about
his chances of survival because of his size;
He looked like a premie. I named him after
his mother "S'more" about the 2nd day of
his life, because he had a very 'Toasty
Color.' He is very sweet, and extremely
cute. Mini More went to live with Jennifer
& her family in Hermitage, Tennessee at the
age of 8 months.
8-24-2008
Color: Seal Point Gender: Male
He was the 2nd born of this litter of five.
"Bailey" was the biggest of this litter at birth.
He was always the first to try anything,
especially the dry kitten food - he took to it
at 4 1/2 weeks old; therefore remained the
largest of this litter. He was the first to climb
out of the Nesting Box. "Bailey" went to live
with Cedric (a gospel music producer) &
Family in Brentwood, TN. 12-21-2007
Color: Seal Point Gender: Male
He was the 3rd born of this litter of five.
"Bruce" was a 'Toasty" color at birth
which distinguished him from the other
two boys of this litter. He was the hardest
to get a picture of when we were posting
him online for the first time & the picture
wasn't as cute as the others then. I think
that is why he was the last to be sold out
of this litter. We posted this new picture
1-1-2008, which turned out to be a very
cute picture, and sold him the very next
day. "Bruce" went to live with Tammy,
David & their sons Bret & Cole in
Bloomington Springs, TN. They named
him "Toasty S'mores" after his mother.
1-2-2008
Color: Seal Point Gender: Female
She was the 4th born of this litter of five.
"Bonnie" very noticeable cute from the time
she first opened her eyes. She had a very
loving personality which just made her
adorable. This made her fitting to become
the first kitten of a 15 yr. old girl named
Tori from Smiths Grove, KY., with a
deposit put down on Christmas Eve. She
was also our first kitten to go out of State .
12-27-2007
Color: Seal Point Gender: Male
He was the last born of this litter of five.
"Zeus" was the lightest colored kitten out of
this litter - making his Points very
distinguishable. He is the only one sold out of
this litter whose name doesn't begin with a 'B';
That's because he was sold to a Breeder at 2
weeks old, & before we stuck a tag on him.
We used the name that his new owner gave
him so that all his records would reflect the
same name. Zeus has the run of our bedroom
right now and will be with us until about
January 25, 2008 at which time he will be 10
weeks of age - tested & vaccinated by our Vet
& ready to start his New Life as the Ruler of
Isle Of Crete Cattery. 1-2-2008
NEW OWNERS WRITE: 1-3-2008
We would like to take this time to thank you for allowing us to come into your home
and see all of your beautiful kitties. It is so hard when you lose one such as we did
with our precious Shadow and this has been really hard on me as a Mommy to get
over, he was our family more than i realized.... But, I do believe that little S'mores is
going to do his best to fill this "void" that I have. He will never replace Shadow but
he sure is trying already to win our hearts. I noticed you updated your web site, that
tickled Brett (and my youngest son Cole) and we called my family and told them to
pull it up. Do you think it would be too much of a bother for you to print it off for
me and mail it. I thought it would be neat to have a copy to put with all of his
information.... Oh yeah your "Blue Persian" is absolutely beautiful!!! She reminds of
our Shadow in some way, he was a Silver Tipped Persian.....
I wanted to ask you too what kind of soap do you give your babies a bath in and how
often. Do you have a special brush that you groom them with and how did you cut
his little nails? I know lots of questions, but I was so impressed by your caring
methods that you take with your cats. I will tell you that this has been the neatest
experience I have had in regards to visiting different homes to pick out a kitty. Even
Shadow did not come from as good of a home. I never saw any sign of neglect or
smelled any odor at all and that you should be very proud of. You have a sweet wife
and children. God Bless you all and once again I am so glad we found you....
Thank you, David, Tammy, Brett and Cole

Jerry, I was so tickled to see Zeus's picture on your site. I liked the write up, too.
Thank you! You really lead a busy life! I didn't know you were musical, too!!
Glad things went so well.
I really appreciate your help in getting me started! I was impressed when I visited you.
Everything was so clean and there was no smell! I know how much work it takes to
keep it that way. All of your cats were beautiful and in tip top shape and you could tell
how much they were loved by the way they responded---even your outdoor cats were
loving and responsive! I can't wait to bring Zeus home!
I intend to showcase Zeus and your cattery when I get my site up and running! I really
appreciate you and your lovely family! I look forward to your continued mentoring .
I am learning so much!
If you have a blue point female in any of your next litters please let me know!
Also keep the pictures coming! I love it! I like the changes on your site, too! The
grooming section is helpful. Sincerely, Kathy

Color: Red Gender: Male
He was the 4th born of this litter.
"Charlie" was the bigger of the two Reds of this
litter. He was the most laid back of the kittens, very
easy going personality - Constant Purr Machine.
Charlie was the 'Talker' of this litter, taking that
from his father, Joaquin; He would greet you
whenever you came into the room with a quick little
Meow of "Hello, where have you been?" And then
continue to reply to whatever you said to him.
This affectionate Red Boy went to live with the Pelts
who are stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY.

Archimedes RJ1-5
Color: Solid Blue Gender: Male Born: 4-15-2008
He was delivered 5th during the cesarean birth of this litter of five.
This Beautiful Blue Boy has a Wonderful Disposition & a Vigor for Life
that seems unmatched.
Seemingly always sure of who he was: he was never afraid of any of the
adult cats here, and would usually walk right up to them, and stick his
nose right against theirs as if to say, "Hi, I'm Averil, and I'm Here!"
He was called "Averil", while here at Beechwoods (which is Middle English
for born in the month of April).
Persians possess an innate sensitivity toward their humans; especially
any one in pain or need; Averil was a great comfort to me following my
return from Fusion Back Surgery on June 5, 2008.
Then at young age of just 7 weeks - Averil would climb up on the bed
where I had to lay and rub on me purring, and it was always when I was
in the most pain; he would then roll over on his back, grabbing my hand,
and would insist that I rub his belly - which seemed to have a very
soothing and calming affect on me - and in turn would lower my blood
pressure; He would stay right by me, letting no one move him until my
pain subsided (which he could somehow sense). I was very tempted to
keep him, and already had a name picked out (which I will not share at this
time in the event that I can use it later).
As you can see, it was a hard decision for me to let him go, but when
Steve & Lane came to visit and he let them rub his belly - I felt he was
adopting them as where he wanted to go (as if to say, "my work here,
now is done, it is time for me to move on for others who need my special
sensitive nature."); And besides he put on quite a show that day displaying
everything that he was capable of: running, jumping, climbing, playing,
and for his FINALE, of course, he rolled over in front of them, for the
now infamous, "Belly Rub."
Now named "Archimedes"; A.K.A. "Archie," he has gone to live in a
new wonderful home with Steve & Lane in Nashville. 6-17-2008

the singer's singer, influencing everyone from Mel Torme to
Anita Baker; Called the world's "greatest singing talent" by
Ella Fitzgerald & the "best vocal instrument" by Mel Torme:
http://www.pbs.org/wnet/americanmasters/database/vaughan_s.html.
"Sassy" was the first to climb out of their nest and became a
favorite of mine to hold, as she would lay on her back in my
arm while I typed on the computer.
